Far From Home

The farthest place away from my home that I have been fortunate enough to travel to is the city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The trip was a vacation that I went on along with my sister. Amsterdam is a city that is rich in history and culture. It is home to many museums, including the very popular Van Gogh Museum. It is also a city that played a major role during World War 2. Visiting the Anne Frank House is one experience that I will undoubtedly remember my entire life. In addition to the history, the city is famous for its beautiful and extensive canal system and houseboats. Unlike most other destinations, just simply taking long walks was a very fun activity. The beauty of Amsterdam is unlike any other city I have visited.
